ABOUT THE APPRAISER Steven J. WoodSteven is a Certified Residential, FHA-approved Appraiser serving clients throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire. He is an Affiliate of the Appraisal Institute, a member of the California Apartment Owners Association, and holds a B.A. in Real Estate. Steven’s journey into real estate began in the aftermath of the 2007–2008 Financial Crisis, when he started acquiring single-family homes and residential income properties. His hands-on experience as both buyer and landlord inspired him to channel his analytical skills and passion for the field into a career as a professional Real Estate Appraiser.
Today, Steven provides valuation services to national and regional lending institutions as well as private property owners. In addition to his appraisal practice, he owns and manages a diverse portfolio of properties across the same markets in which he works, giving him a practical and grounded perspective that benefits every client he serves. Appraisal Assistant With more than 20 years of experience in customer service management, Eric brings a seasoned skillset in organization, communication, and client care to Wood Equity. For the past two years, he has worked closely with Steven to support appraisal operations and property management, ensuring smooth processes and responsive service for clients and tenants alike. Eric’s background in leading teams and handling high-level customer needs gives him a unique perspective in real estate support. His ability to anticipate challenges, stay detail-oriented under pressure, and foster positive relationships makes him an invaluable part of the team.
